Program Description

Development Planning in the Arts & Humanities teaches students how to design, manage and promote cultural and creative projects that improve communities. You will study cultural studies, community development, project planning, visual communication, creative writing and basic media production. The course blends research, design and communication to help you plan events, exhibitions, public art, museum programmes and creative businesses. Graduates can work as graphic designers, writers or journalists, museum curators, art teachers or creative directors, and may find roles in cultural NGOs, local government, festivals and media houses.
