Program Description

Fashion, Design and Textile Studies teaches you how clothing, fabrics, and visual style are created, produced, and communicated. You will study garment construction, pattern making, textile science, colour and surface design, fashion illustration, fashion history, and basic digital design tools. The program combines hands-on studio work with cultural and business ideas so you can create original clothes, understand Ghanaian and global textile traditions, and build a portfolio. Graduates can become fashion designers, textile designers, stylists, merchandisers, museum textile curators, art teachers, or creative directors, and can also start their own fashion businesses. This program helps you turn creativity into practical skills and career opportunities.
