Program Description
Interior Design and Wood Works teaches you how to shape indoor spaces and make furniture that is both beautiful and useful. You will study design principles, technical drawing, colour and materials, joinery and finishing, and basic digital design tools. The course combines studio work and hands-on woodworking practice so you learn sketching, model-making, and safe workshop techniques. Graduates can work as interior designers, furniture makers, carpentry workshop supervisors, exhibition or set designers, or start their own design and joinery business. Aims & Objectives
Develop accurate hand and digital technical drawing skills, producing at least three scaled plans and elevations.
Master core woodworking joinery and finishing techniques, completing practical projects such as a chair and a small cabinet.

Create a professional portfolio showcasing sketches, workshop projects, and digital renderings for work or further study.
