Program Description

Interior Design and Wood Works teaches you how to shape indoor spaces and make furniture that is both beautiful and useful. You will study design principles, technical drawing, colour and materials, joinery and finishing, and basic digital design tools. The course combines studio work and hands-on woodworking practice so you learn sketching, model-making, and safe workshop techniques. Graduates can work as interior designers, furniture makers, carpentry workshop supervisors, exhibition or set designers, or start their own design and joinery business. This program builds practical skills, a creative portfolio, and the mindset to solve real design problems while celebrating Ghanaian materials and culture. It is a great path if you enjoy drawing, making things with your hands, and designing spaces people love.
