Program Description

Media and Communication Studies explores how stories, images and information are created, shaped and shared in society. You will study media theory, journalism, film and video production, photography, graphic design, digital media, cultural studies and communication ethics. The program combines creative practice (making videos, photos, graphics and written pieces) with research and analysis of media audiences and culture. Graduates can work as graphic designers, writers/journalists, museum curators, art teachers or creative directors, and find opportunities in radio, TV, advertising, digital agencies and cultural institutions across Ghana and beyond. This course builds practical skills, a strong portfolio and real-world experience so you can turn your creativity into a career.
