Program Description

Plumbing Technology trains you to design, install, test, and maintain water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems in homes, schools, and public buildings. You will study practical subjects like pipe fitting, plumbing materials and fixtures, drainage and sewage systems, water supply and treatment basics, technical drawing and CAD, and health and safety. The program combines workshop practice with classroom theory so you graduate ready for jobs as a plumbing technician, site installer, maintenance technician, or to continue into civil or building services engineering, facilities management, or self-employment as a licensed plumber. This course equips you with hands-on skills and engineering knowledge to solve real infrastructure problems and build a dependable career.

Develop practical competence in installing and repairing plumbing systems, measured by successful completion of workshop projects and on-site assessments.

Master reading and producing plumbing drawings using CAD and manual drafting, demonstrated by graded drawing assignments.
