Program Description
Social Work in the Arts & Humanities explores how culture, creativity and human experience shape wellbeing and communities. You will study human development, community studies, counselling basics, cultural studies, ethics, research methods and project planning. The program combines classroom learning with field placements so you practise helping individuals, families and groups, designing community programmes, and running awareness campaigns. Graduates can work as community social workers, child welfare officers, NGO project officers, counsellors or community arts coordinators who use creative media for advocacy. If you care about people, culture and social change, this programme gives practical skills, real-world experience and routes into meaningful jobs across Ghana’s public, private and non-profit sectors.
